Every Monday on my stories on Instagram I'm going to share a new tip, recipe, bible verse/quote, etc. - just something more towards the lifestyle aspect of what I want my blog and social media pages to be about. My main focus is still fashion, I'd just like to add a little extra in to learn new things myself, and hopefully inspire you in some way. Today's tip is one little step in how to get your schedule organized. I love having pictures of my family around my desk - but for my screensaver I love to keep the current month's calendar up so when I'm at my desk making up my schedule, I can easily see the month's overview.
Sugar Paper has been one of my most favorite stationery companies for years now. They have such a beautiful selection of planners, greeting cards and even wallpaper options! So you know I was excited to see that they offer a free calendar desktop download on their blog!
Head over to Sugarpaper.com. At the top right side of their options bar, you will see a link to their blog.
Scroll down to the free desktop download post.
Click on the second calendar in the post (without the computer screen showing). Another window will pop up with the calendar. You can then save this picture to use. I have a Mac and I simply drag this calendar onto my desktop and then save it in my photo app (I use iPhoto). Note: this will not make it your screensaver yet - it just saves the image.
In System Preferences on your computer, click on the Desktop & Screen Saver option.
1. Make sure the Desktop tab is selected.
2. Click on iPhoto for your pictures to come up.
3. Find the desktop calendar you just saved and click on it so that it comes up at the top image.
4. Make sure the Change Picture option isn't selected so your calendar will stay on your screen at all times.
Now hit save (if your computer has that option) or just exit out of this screen. Now you have a new calendar desktop!
