Beach Time

This weekend we had a little bit of beach time at Anna Maria Island in the Bradenton, Florida area for one of our fun last days of Spring Break.  When I first moved down to the Tampa area for college, me and some girl friends used to go to Anna Maria about every other weekend when it was warm and not raining there for a little while. We loved how beautiful it is there and we found some secluded spots where there wern't tons of people.  I had moved from up north and was really soaking all the warm weather and relaxation in.

Now that I've been in Florida over 10 years, I really don't go to the beach near as often and I've gone to some other beaches here and there.  It was fun to revisit Anna Maria again!  I love how beautiful it is there!  I don't like wearing swimming suits - but if I do - I now like to wear board shorts or a coverup over them.  I wish they made them with more coverage!  I used my green t-shirt dress like a coverup this weekend.  It's perfect to slip on at the beach to go eat or to just use as a coverup!  The side slits detail really adds to the laid-back look!
