Makeup/Beauty Finds

1. YSL Lipstick - A recent favorite I've been wearing a lot lately.  I have just tried YSL lipstick and love the colors and how smooth it feels.  My lips can get chapped easily and these feel so good on them.  I currently own the color 15 Corail Intuitive but would love to add the color 49 Rose Saint Germain to my collection next.

2. Smashbox Foundation -  I've used Smashbox foundations before and missed them. I love the coverage it gives and the smooth, soft look of it in photos.  I talked with a Smashbox representative when picking out my foundation and he said they test their foundation in all kind of lighting - from office lights to outside to camera lights to get the best results - and it shows! My color is 2.12 in the Studio Skin 15 Hour Hydrating Foundation for reference.  I also use their primer before applying my foundation - it's been my favorite for years!!

3. Marc Jacobs Eyeliner - I must admit, I am a little bit of a baby when it comes to eyeliners lol.  I have this Mac eyeliner pencil in Smolder, but I tend to get the mechanical ones or liquid types more.  I hate the sharpening and the rough edges that poke your eye. ha  So when I found this Marc Jacobs one, I loved it!  It glides on so smoothly and you can blend it for a smokey eye look just like the pencil ones and even apply it to your waterline if you want!  It is my current favorite eyeliner.  The latest color I got was (Over)night 61 - a deep matte blue color to bring out the blue in my eyes.

4. Vichy Moisturizer - I saw another blogger post about a different Vichy product.  I was curious and tried it.  I liked it ok but didn't think it was anything too great.  However in the package I received was a free sample of this Vichy moisturizer and I fell in love!  After using the sample for a few nights I had to go out and buy the full size for myself.  I wanted to add in a heavier moisturizer at night and this one is perfect for that.  During the day I still use the Clinique moisturizer in the gel formula for a lighter moisturizer that isn't sticky (note: gel is very important as they have a similar lotion formula that honestly I don't like at all)

5. Eco Tools Face Brush - I saw reviews on the mechanical face brush systems but wasn't too sure I wanted to spend that much not knowing how I would like it or how much I would use it.  My sister found these Eco Tools Brushes and loved them, so I had to try them too!  These are hand held, 100% moved by you but I actually love mine and don't think about getting the mechanical kind.  The reason I like it so much is that I can keep it in the shower and remember to use it 2-3 times a week when I'm letting my conditioner set.  It's so convenient to me to use in the shower that I don't even think about getting another one and it's a fraction of the price! The brush really helps get rid of dead skin cells and exfoliate, making your skin smoother and give off a healthy glow!

6. Physicians Formula Bronzer -This bronzer is so smooth it feels like butter! - in a non-sticky but awesome kind of way lol  Plus it smells like coconuts.  So every time you apply this bronzer you think about slipping away to a private island where it's all nice and warm and beautiful ha.  But really I like the glow it gives and the way it feels so this one made my list.

7. Stila Liquid Eyeshadow - For one of my lighter eye shadows, I love, love the original Stila eye shadow in kitten - there's a reason why it's won so many awards.  But lately I've been curious about their shimmer and glow line.  They have it in kitten along with some other beautiful shades and has high reviews.  This is on my list to try next.

8. L'Oreal Liquid Eyeliner - I have been using this liquid eyeliner for years now.  Back when I was looking for a liquid eyeliner for when I wanted a more precise application, I was intimidated by the brushes and how on earth I would be able to apply them neatly.  When I found the L'Oreal eyeliner with the felt tip, I knew I had to try it and haven't looked back.  I've always kept one in my collection from then on. The only downside is that it really doesn't have a color selection.  If you want something other than black, this one from Lancome is great too, it's just more expensive.

9. Clinique Chubby Stick - the chubby stick in Watermelon is my favorite for on-the-go, more natural days.  It gives off a really pretty light pink glow to your lips and the lip gloss type of application is perfect to reapply anywhere anytime.

10. Urban Decay Eyeshadow -Ahh.  My all time favorite eye shadow line! I have several colors in these as I love the shimmer and rich color these eyeshadows give off.  I not only use them for going out, but love a few colors for everyday wear as well.  Even with this shimmer they still look pretty and natural for everyday wear like the colors sin, half baked and YDK.  For a wide range of colors to try, I have a few of the naked palettes of theirs.  My favorite is the Naked Palette2 (out of palettes 1-3)
In this picture I'm wearing my Smashbox foundation and love the smooth look it gives off.  But I really wanted to share this because a lot of you liked this nude lipstick I'm wearing when I shared this picture on Instagram so I decided to link to it too.  Click here for the best drugstore lipstick in Baddest Beige! Sometimes they have it in stores but it seems to sell out so quickly that I had to order mine online!

I know this was my longest post ever but wanted to give a little information on each product.  Hopefully you liked my first makeup post.  If you would like to see more or have any questions, please let me know!
